LAB RATS

SEASON 3

BY GABRIEL DOMINIC JAGGERNAUTH (4TH FEBRUARY 2015)

For the past 3 years, Lab Rats has evolved from what it began as, just small half hour episodes of three "Bionic Teens" to more of a story line that got better... and then drops a bit following "Rise of the Secret Soldiers". But some very interesting plot twists were involved along the way, like in "Taken" where Krane was responsible for the kidnapping and "You Posted What?", when the girl "S-1" who recorded the footage was really bionic.

The highlight of the series falls in between the the last 3 or 4 episodes in Season 2 and up to "Rise of the Secret Soldiers" in season 3. After that episode, so far, things have gotten a bit low. But the series is still doing extremely well for itself. Any Episode, though, falling into the story line, especially from Krane's debut, was very positively received in my book. But we still expect very great things in the future episodes and season 4 with the Davenport Bionic Academy.

On our book, we are giving the series a 7.8 up to the end of Season 3 and it will be re-reviewed following the end of Season 4, which is said to be the probable season finale.

UPDATE FROM 2/6/2014

Following last nights season finale, it was better than our previous review had claimed. We rushed into it too soon. We loved the plot twist at the end. Will Krane be avenged, or will the Lab Rats take down his still loyal minion?

We decided to bump up Lab Rats to an 8.2
